The top ten papabili as of 2009.

This list was compiled in December 2008. It has not been updated since primarily because there has not been a cardinal creating consistory since then. In general the criteria I used to select this list still holds. If anything, I am more convinced that the next pope will have to come from outside of Europe. << My latest thoughts. >>
